Have You Ever Asked – Help Me Save My Marriage

Are you one of the people looking for an  answer to the often asked question, “Help me save my marriage!”  Do you feel like you’ve run into a dead end as far as what do about solving your marriage problems?

Rest assured that you are headed in the right direction by looking for advice from others.

Talking with Friends or Family:

Anyone you know that has had to deal with problems in their marriage, especially those who have come close to a  divorce can provide you with some very useful advice on how they dealt with the situation. Do not make the mistake of only talking to friends or family in your same age group. You will find that  older couples can often provide some great advice for coping with marriage problems.

But, going to your friends or family for advice does have a major drawback in that they can only tell you what worked for them. This causes a problem because what worked for them might not work for you.

Using Online Forums:

You can use online forums to get quality answers to questions on just about any subject  including advice on troubled marriages. The nice thing about using online forums is that you can get advice about your problems and still remain anonymous. There is an enormous amount of people available to give you a much different perspective on marriage problems than your own point of view. But to get quality advice that will actually help you then you will have to make more than one  ”help me save my marriage”.  It may in fact take many posts. Real time fundamental interaction is the key to getting to the bottom of what is causing your difficulties and deciding a workable solution.

Marriage Counseling:

Whenever you first encounter trouble in your marriage someone will usually ask:  ”Have you considered seeing a marriage counselor?”  This actually not a bad question. Marriage counselor are well trained in dealing with couple’s marital conflicts. They have seen and dealt with all kinds of people and problems.

In almost every case, seeing a marriage councilor is complicated by the fact that the spouse is reluctant to go. Most likely, they believe the marriage is over and it is would serve no purpose to go to counseling. Even if your spouse feels this way, you shouldn’t give up yet. Under no circumstances should you try pressuring or begging them to go, sticking with a common sense approach can bring about much better results.

Although counseling can help your effort to reconcile your differences, it’s not a magic cure for a troubled marriage. Statistics show the the average marriage councilor is successful with less than 30% of the couples they work with. Odds are they are not going to be able to help answer your request to: “Help me save my marriage!” That makes it hard to justify the expense of seeing a counselor.

Self-Help Books:

There are some ebooks available online that contain excellent advice for solving your marriage problems even if your spouse is ready to call it quits. It may surprise you to learn that the best of these can bring about some impressive results.

Many of these are by successful marriage counselors who have developed  reliable, time-tested methods that work. These marriage counselors usually have a much higher success rate than others in their profession.

Your marriage problems won’t go away on their own so don’t just sit there wondering  ”Who can help me save my marriage?”

It’s time for you to look for good advice and then put that advice into action.
Remember, the longer you put off doing anything, the harder it will be to work out your marriage problems.

Help Me Save My Marriage

When couples are going through hard times in their marriages, there is certainly a lot of ways to get help to save your marriage. There are a ton of great programs and services available both online as well as offline for people without the benefit of Internet services. While there is a lot of advice for people in this situation, the question is which of these methods will work for your particular marriage problems. If you want your marriage to work and the thought of being without your spouse is too much to handle, you will need to find some effective advice that will fix the situation and keep your family together.

Every couple, when dealing with marriage problems needs to take time out to discuss the problems they are having.

Opening the doors to communication is usually the first line of defense against a failed marriage. Talking it out is a great way to find out what is wrong and figure out how to fix it. The only problem is that sometimes the time is not right to communicate with your husband or wife, especially if he or she is angry or depressed. In these situations your spouse may feel like they are trapped and at that point they will attack you or at the very least now want to share or be open with you. If you plan to use the communication route with your spouse in order to save your marriage, you will need to plan time away from everything and everybody, where just the two of you can be comfortable and share what ever you feel with each other without fear that you will be verbally attacked.

Another thing you will definitely want to take into consideration is that you can keep all the bottled up marriage problems inside of a journal. You can let the journal hear all your ranting and raving, and you can give the journal the verbal lashing that you really wanted to give your spouse as well. You are able to get all those hostile feeling out before you confront your spouse by writing them down. It is also great for helping you to figure out the points you want to make when you do have a conversation with your spouse. You can get rid of rage and anger before you say something damaging that may break up your marriage and destroy your family. When you are working to save your marriage, remember communication is the key, however waiting till the right time and getting calmed through journal writing will keep you from destroying your marriage with what you have to say.

Quickie Divorces

Quickie Divorces

Going through a divorce proceeding is usually an agonising experience for a couple, and even for the person who has filed it. This emotional pain is prolonged most of the times due to a lengthy Divorce process. Quickie divorces, as the name suggests, is a fast way of getting a divorce so that you can carry on with your life.

The Process Involved

There are two kinds of divorce proceedings: contested and uncontested. A contested divorce involves a lot of complications with the couple finding difficulty in reaching common terms. It might take years to settle these kinds of divorce proceedings. In the second type, the decision to divorce and the conditions surrounding it are not challenged by the spouse. Quickie divorces are possible only in the case of an uncontested divorce.

When a person files for divorce in the court of law, the court serves the petition to the spouse. When the divorce is uncontested, the judge takes a look at the grounds for divorce, financial arrangement between the couple and information pertaining to the child custody. If the judge is contented with all the legal papers and arrangements, he grants ‘the Decree Nisi’. After six weeks and one day of receiving this, the couple can apply for ‘The Decree Absolute’, which is the final stage of dissolution of the marriage.

Although in some cases, like the one of Gary Lineker mentioned above where a quickie divorce is granted within seconds, it normally would take at least two months for a quickie divorce to come through.

Facilitating a Quickie Divorce

Here are a few things that need to be remembered while trying for a quickie divorce. These will help you avoid common mistakes while applying for a divorce which would otherwise lengthen the process.

Proactive: The couple needs to be proactive and draw up a prenuptial agreement even before the marriage. These will help them reach an amicable solution at the earliest in the case of a divorce.

Grounds for Divorce: While stating the reason for a divorce, do not go into details and sound very offensive towards your spouse. This might pave the way for contested divorce and might cause delay.

Settlement: Reach a reasonable settlement and make it final. Any change in the same after the judge has reviewed them, would make the process time-consuming. The same applies to the case of child custody also.

Avoiding Mistakes: Get professional help while filling out the forms correctly. After you have submitted the papers in the court, if mistakes are found, you would be required to start all over again.

There have been cases where the court has provided quickie divorce to people suffering from fatal illness, so that they could marry the person whom they wish to, before their death.
Pros and Cons

Quickie divorce has both positives and negatives owing to which it is welcomed by some and criticised by others. Following is an analysis of the pros and cons of having a quickie divorce:
Pros

Here are some of the advantages of having a Quickie divorce:

It helps in providing a faster relief from the pain owing to divorce and helps the couple move on with their lives.
It saves a lot of time which otherwise could be a hindrance to your professional lives.
If not for quickie divorce, the uncertainty of the proceedings would also cause stress upon everyone including the children.

Cons

There are a lot of people who oppose the idea of a quickie divorce due to one or more of the following reasons:

Speeding up the process of divorce lessens the probability of reconciliation between the couple.
A couple might apply and get a divorce in a fit of rage. The reduced time and effort might make people opt for divorce instead of making efforts to work the differences out.

Quickie divorce can prove useful to a couple whose marriage has broken down irrevocably. Getting it done online would further simplify the process. However, making this decision while in a confusion can only make them regret their decision in the future. But, ultimately, it is up to the couple to choose wisely and live happily.

Beware the DIY Quickie Divorce Companies in the UK

The national press in the UK is littered with articles about the steep costs of divorce and horror stories of people who have spent tens of thousands of pounds for a service that they probably never envisaged they would need.

This, coupled with the increasing economic uncertainty of late, is reason enough to seek a “cheaper” alternative to instructing solicitors.  As a result, there is a growing trend for so-called DIY divorces, where you undertake the divorce process by using an online service.  Many people understandably want what is one of the most distressing times in their lives over with as quickly and cheaply as possible.

However, appearances can be deceptive.  Websites offering “quickie” divorces can come with a price if you’re not careful.

No one can promise a Quickie Divorce in England and Wales as it is down to how long the court takes and how long you take to deal with your paperwork.

There are a number of websites owned and operated by a company Wales dealing with quickie and managed divorces that offer DIY divorce services and they spend huge amounts of money on Google ads to try and get custom.

Many industry experts are asking how these people can make a profit from their services when the cost per click of these ads is nearly as much as for banking and insurance keywords and they must be spending thousands more than their competitors to secure the no 1 keyword spot.

Well the answer very well could  be in the value of your personal information.

This company has also set up a lead generation division for a payment protection insurance claims service and just one successful claim from a customer would be worth hundreds of their divorce packs, so the value of your information is worth more than a divorce.

Their privacy policy states that they will not pass your details on to any third parties but it does not say it will not pass your details internally which would get around it, would it not?

Well actually no, you have to be asked if you want information from the company over and above what you need for the service you have bought under the UK Data Protection Act.

So before you think about using a quickie  diy divorce or managed divorce website that sits at the top of the Google Ads ask yourself whether your personal information is going to be used to try and flog you a Payment Protection Insurance claim?
