What kinds of should i be keeping my eye out for and were should i be looking?
i am a 35 full time single dad of two a boy and a girl. i have always had a strong scents of value for family ,marriage, and community, do to growing up in northern florida that the way it is there. the only thing i never was religious no one perfect. i am very shy do to being rejected, played, used, and cheated on, by women, i don’t want to be lonely but but keep finding the wrong women. i know i am not the best looking i am over weight ,not the best looking, or well dressed, and not brightest but i am very loyal i will stand up for what i feel is right and i won’t be look at like a shoe mat.
I have a lot of interests my kids are my number one followed classic cars, hot rods, cooking, hunting and shooting,camping, fishing, and a huge history buff, i do like to go out to bars movies and stuff.
only things not books, art, sports, any thing to do with holly wood or that kinda thing, but i do have lot of other interests.

it is time to look for a girlfriend. I am very self conscious, and am worried that after being with one person for so long, it will be hard to find a friend. The ex messed up my head. I know it is about the confused gay society– BUT this is my question- if passed(or if it did) was proposition 8 making gay marriage legal or illegal? I’m Mormon and I know my religion spent millions supporting prop 8- but I dot know if prop 8 was for or against TE gay community??

Im the youngest daughter….Okay so my dad and my mom WERE married for 32 years BUT are are now divorced,have been since december of 2010.My dad lives here in Texas(i live an hour away from where he lives), my mom lives in Arizona.My mom is going through so much health wise 2 types of cancers and is going through chemotherapy.my mom and dad still talk every other day just to see how each other are doing & thats it….Today is my moms birthday,so i sent her a big thing of flowers(yesterday) to arizona.& i posted on facebook a picture of the flowers and i put “My mommy loved the flowers I sent!! Her birthday is tomorrow/April 14th! Best mommy in the world,calls me every day & she’s helped me through everything & still is.love her so much:)” i was just stating something that was deep in my heart true.my dad has really never helped me with ANYthing,he does NOT even call to check on me(which i dont mind anyway)..hes made my life a bit of a struggle to be exact. & then my dad left 2 comments on that picture saying “k whatever.” & “dont forget dad..love u 2..and i’ve been here the whole time UNlike her”…and that is whats getting to me..why was there a need to say that?..I even called and asked and he was just like “well think about it..shes in arizona..”…which actually these past few months she has helped me TONSSSSS! while my dad has not..even when i tried to ask..and then today i found out my dad went to my older sisters house and gave her roses?….i mean i think its pretty hilarious but i just dont get WHATS WRONG WITH HIM??? WHY IS HE ACTING THIS WAY??WHAT WAS THAT SUPPOSE TO ACCOMPLISH(giving my older sister flowers today) i dont get it..i dont believe i did anything wrong with sending my mom some flowers…if anyone else understands what his problem is?..let me know..cause at this point Im so confused…thanks to those who answer!!

help me find a good intro for divorce

I mean no disrespect to anyone.
I am interested in a guy who is a sunni muslim. He seems incredibly sweet and caring and we have many similar interests. I am a catholic woman. Because I know little about muslim religion, I decided to do some research. I have found numerous sources saying that muslim men are incredibly nice to their wives before marriage, but disrespectful and mean afterwards. I know that this is a stereotype and doesn’t always apply, but it is troubling me.
Is there any reasoning behind this shift in attitude after marriage and is it possible for he and I to have a loving and healthy relationship even after marriage?

Well I’m an American, I found this nice russian girl online and long story short, we went through the process and waited a long time to be together and finally were reunited and got married several weeks ago. But life just doesn’t feel right since we have been back together… She says i don’t give her enough attention and i do try but when she says this enough i just tend to not want to give her more attention… I do have a 4 year old daughter part time from a previous relationship and i try to give her the bulk of my attention as i only have her half the week… Since we have been here she has been eager to make friends and i understand that. But it seems she always ends up talking to guys.. We joined this russian orthodox chruch and the only reason she really wants to go is to socialize and i’m cool with that. But now one of the ladies at the church introduced her to some russian guy and they talk online everyday, when i’m at work and when i’m home, just what seems to be general conversation ( although i can’t read russian) But i’ve told her it upsets me, And she says “i dont prevent you from talking to other people..” I’m married now, i didn’t expect to be dealing with teenage scenarios … Whenever she gets upset with me she completely disappears she has sometimes walked miles alone into bad neighborhoods and when i ask were she is she wont tell me right away… It’s almost like she’s a teenage daughter and not my wife… I would write more but it’s hard to even talk about… Please help

Writing a college essay to be 4 to 6 pages long and I need some help. I am totally for it. I have already covered the religous views, and adopting children, and being happy. any other ideas?

I need some advice from girls please. I’ve been single for a while because dating just never worked out for me. I’m always a friend or a sister… but anyways my ex and I broke up for different reasons, one is distance but I texted him today and asked how he was.. and he said he’s busy with school and his girlfriend. When we used to text he was using emoticons and stuff but today it was like, “thanks” “I’m fine” “busy with school and my girlfriend. We’re going to see the three stooges. She loves them” and it makes me feel like he doesn’t care at all about me even as a friend. So it makes me feel “forever alone” and I feel pathetic and desperate.
My town we can’t really do anything that doesn’t cost so much money.. I’m not sure how to feel and I’m confused. What should I do? Like my ex never texts me first. I always have to text him. I feel forgotten and pathetic…..
